Northern Precision Products is committed to delivering quality machined parts, custom manufactured according to your engineering drawings, every time. This is accomplished by having a quality system in place that leaves no room for error. We are guided by our certif- ication and registration to the globally recognized ISO/TS 16949:2002, employee involvement, and continuous improvement. As such, we are compliant with the demanding automotive quality requirements including PPAP’s, work instructions, SPC techniques, control plans, 8-D problem solving, and PFMEA’s. From RFQ meetings, to new job reviews, to machine setup approvals, to first piece samples, to quality documentation, to final inspection and part certification, we will do what it takes.
We use precision equipment to verify each order according to your precise specifications. This is accomplished, in part, through the use of our extensive gage inventory and detailed measurement training required for all production and inspection personnel. We monitor and audit the path, progress, and quality of everything we produce.
Our machinists are required to verify the accuracy of their own production, checking and recording all critical dimensions. These measurements are routinely cross-checked by Quality Assurance inspectors, who are directed by our Quality Manager and his staff. All of our gages are maintained and calibrated according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements.
We believe quality is the essential element in measuring our performance. For this reason, our president is directly involved in assuring each customer’s total satisfaction.
