Value Added Services
Our goal is to be our customers’ most significant supplier. In order to accomplish this feat, we know we will need to be viewed as a strategic partner who challenges traditional order fulfillment practices and introduces innovations for strategic advantage. In short, we want to find more ways to give "good value" an all new meaning.

Here are several examples of "value-adders" NPP has offered:

  • applying a 3-cycle wash, rust inhibitor bath on all parts produced
  • issuing price quotations with transparent metal costs, to simplify pricing calculations and purchasing decisions
  • offering future price hedge contracts for metals with volatile market conditions
  • warehousing annual requirement quantities of low volume service parts so economies from large volume production orders can be realized and passed on to the customer
  • maintaining extra finished part inventories as a buffer to protect against last minute changes in "high runner" component orders
  • offering short-notice kanban deliveries against blanket purchase orders
  • suggesting minor part redesign in order to reduce cost or improve part performance
  • increasing investment in tooling and equipment in order to reduce setup time, and machining time and costs
  • balancing machine cutting and forming loads in order to minimize machine cycle times
  • performing first piece inspection using digital camera technology
  • eddy testing parts for the presence of cracks
